The Talbot Inn is conveniently located on Ripley High Street, just off the A3, less than 2 miles from J10 of the M25 and only half an hour from central London. It is also just 20 minutes from both Heathrow and Gatwick international airports. The Talbot is also the nearest property to Wisley Gardens, and are ideal for relaxing leisure breaks to wind-down at the weekend. We are based centrally for many more local attractions - such as Thorpe Park & Chessington World of Adventures for you thrill seekers! We are also a great base for exploring Hampton Court, Kew Gardens or for a day trip into London which is only a short train journey away! Pack your bags and leave the confines of home, for a break at the historic Talbot Inn.
Fantastic stay over the Christmas break enjoyed by our two families. Traditional style inn rooms gives the Talbot a classic, old fashioned feel. The deluxe rooms were dated and a bit run down, but cosy and comfortable. The pub at the front provides a great opportunity to meet a few locals. We can't speak highly enough of Jose, Roberto and the staff, who went well above and beyond expectations in providing outstanding service no matter the time or day (Christmas day included). Recommended for couples, families and groups of friends looking for a great weekend away in the countryside.
Lovely wedding venue and lovely, friendly staff. I stayed here on the night of the wedding and got a lovely room in the old Inn part above reception.
I think most of the wedding party stayed in this part of the hotel so I was lucky enough to see everyone's rooms. They're all so unique and different. They're all very big and spacious with lovely four poster beds, rustic beams and fireplaces. The bridal suite is massive as well!! Breakfast came with the room and it's cooked for you once you order or you can choose a selection of cereals and fruits from the tables. A cooked breakfast after a wedding was needed though! All in all this is a lovely little place with lots of character. I'd love to go back any time and pay the extra for those lovely rooms.
